Kunle Afolayan on the need for actors to be multitalented

Kunle Afolayan is a popular actor and respected filmmaker. Some of his more popular films are October 1; Phone Swap and the more recent The CEO.  So when he speaks, best believe you are going to learn a lot.
He shared a recent message on Instagram where he posted a video of his father late legendary actor/filmmaker and musician Adeyemi Afolayan aka Adelove singing in one of his films. He wrote about how thespians of earlier times were multi-talented, but these days, the reverse is the case. See it below:A clip from the film “Kadara” Destiny. Written, Produced and Directed by my father Adeyemi Afolayan aka Adelove in 1980. An average thespian in those days is not just an actor but all-rounder talent, he can double as a choreographer, dancer, Musician, instrumentalist, producer and director. It’s so different now as most actors just one to feature in one film and grace plenty red carpets. I shall continue to contribute my quota to upholding the true essence of Art/literature and commerce.
